A discussion about the Telecommunication Industry

Verizon Wireless has expanded on its unlimited voice plan by now offering an unlimited data and email plan.  The plan which is only available to certain smart phone users will cost $30 per month and give access to up to 10 email accounts and unlimited mobile web browsing.  One major omission is the lack of Microsoft Exchange support, the dominate corporate email server.

Robert Miller, the Vice President of marketing for Verizon Wireless explained “Customers using Email and Web on their Smart phones can use these tools to stay on top of news from their favorite Internet sites or remotely and seamlessly interact with friends or clients via e-mail.”
