MagicJack 2
mj2.jpgYou do have to buy the MagicJack adapter, which is $20.  So that makes your 1st year of service $40, but only $20 per year afterwards.  Again, that’s $20 per year, not per month.  When I first read that I thought it must be a mistake, but it’s not.  Now the MagicJack adapter is a unique piece of technology.  Instead of using a traditional VoIP adapter that plugs into your router or is built into your router the way the cable company works, the MagicJack adapter is tiny.  It’s only 2 inches long and an inch wide and weights an ounce.  The adapter has a USB plug on one side and a standard telephone jack (rj11) on the other.
