Last week, the FCC held public hearings on the Internet in Boston. Specifically, the hearings were about “net neutrality” and Comcast’s attempts at controlling certain types of network traffic, especially peer to peer file sharing. The FCC wanted to hear from the public. Comcast apparently did not. Comcast, or some unknown Comcast partisan, filled the hearing room with paid “seat holders”, many of whom fell asleep during the hearings Over 100 concerned citizens, most of whom seemed anti-Comcast, were unable to get into the hearing room due to over crowding. Craig Aaron, a spokesman for Free Press, one of the groups that filed the complaint against Comcast, said "The sad thing about this is that literally hundreds of people who were not paid to stand in line, or paid by their employer to attend, were prevented from even entering the building."
