The Panasonic’s answering machine has another really nice feature that is especially helpful when checking your messages remotely. It has voice guidance for the answering machine’s features. If you do not press any buttons, the system’s voice guidance informs you of the available commands. You can set voice guidance to English (default) or Spanish. This can keep you from accidentally deleting your messages rather then listening to them, which I had done, more then once, on my old answering machine by pressing the wrong button.
Another nice feature is an alarm function. You can set the handset to alarm ring at a predetermined time or everyday at the same time. You can choose from any of the phone’s 7 ring tones / melodies.
The KX0TG3031 uses a 650mAh nickel-metal hydride rechargeable battery. I’ve been using the phone for 4 days without recharging it and I still have one out of three battery indicator bars. The handset also gives a nice “charge complete” on the display once the battery is fully charged.
Tomorrow I will wrap up my review.
