The KX-TG3031 has a lengthy list of features. The Panasonic Color line of phones has all the usual features such as called ID, called ID previous caller list, conference calling, handset locator, phone book, and intercom between handsets and handset to base unit.
There are also some nice features not found on most cordless phones including 8 ringer tones, caller id to phone book name display, duplex speaker phone on handset, phone company voice mail phone number and password storage, phone company voice mail stutter tone detection, and complete answering machine functionality from the handset.
There are two unique features, Voice Enhancer and Handset Clarity Booster. Voice Enhancer changes the sound of the incoming call. It can make hard to hear or unclear conversations better. I found that when talking with someone on their cell phone Voice Enhancer improved sound quality. I found the same thing when I called into my office voice mail to check my messages.
